Who we are

Lindsay’s a native Mainer, raised on the midcoast. A love of travel and an unquenchable thirst for new experiences brought her to far flung places until she found herself in Lille, France, standing across the bar from a charming Irish guy who could make her laugh.

Colm’s a born and bred Cork man, who can somehow insult you to your face then leave you feeling like you just met your new best friend. He’s charmed nearly every person in Maine, so far. He’s a woodworker by trade, is mastering the maple syrup boil, and he loves a good sing-along.

Our Winemaking

We are hybrid enthusiasts.

Lindsay caught the wine bug when she was working in hospitality, and the drive for knowledge and understanding of the wine world brought her from table-service to management, then onto the world of imports and sales. The next logical step was in production.

Her first harvest experience (at Troon Vineyard in Southern Oregon) lit a fire, and she moved from harvest intern to viticulture/enology student in less than a year. During her time studying, she learned about hybrid grapes and the role they can play in rebuilding the wine industry for the future. The idea of growing grapes in marginal climates took seed, and she started to dream about making wine in her home state of Maine.

Fast forward to now, and Lindsay has been growing wine in New England for the last six seasons. With experiences in Vermont, coastal Maine and central Maine, she’s more convinced than ever that cold hardy hybrid grapes are capable of making wines of character and place.

This is where the story of Rabbit Rabbit Wine Company begins, with 400 hybrid vines planted in May 2026, and the release of our first cuvee, Etain’s Pour.
